KVKK Privacy Notice

This notice explains, in accordance with Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), which personal data [GMAK ünvanı] processes, for what purposes, on which legal bases and in what manner.

The data controller with respect to your personal data is [GMAK ünvanı], operating at [adres]. Your data is processed within the scope and limits set out in this notice, in compliance with the KVKK and its secondary legislation.

Personal Data Processed

Personal data is collected through our website via two forms only. The contact form processes your full name, e-mail address, company name, telephone number, subject, message content and the consent timestamp. The project request form additionally collects your country, industry and project details; you may optionally attach one technical file in PDF, DWG or STEP format, not exceeding 10 MB.

Purposes of Processing

The data collected is processed in order to communicate with you, evaluate your enquiry and, for project requests, carry out the quotation preparation process. Your data is not used beyond these purposes for activities such as profiling, targeted advertising or marketing analytics.

Legal Bases

Your personal data is processed on the following legal bases: Article 5/2-c of the KVKK, where processing is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract; Article 5/2-f, where processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed; and, where required, your explicit consent. The consent timestamp recorded when a form is submitted serves to document these bases.

Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data is not transferred to third parties for marketing purposes. Transfers may occur only where a legal obligation must be fulfilled or upon the request of competent public authorities, and solely within the limits prescribed by law.

Retention Periods

Enquiries submitted through the forms, together with any attached technical files, are retained for [24 months] following the conclusion of the request; at the end of this period the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Where a contractual relationship is established with you, the relevant data is kept for the duration of the limitation and retention obligations under applicable legislation.

Rights of the Data Subject (Article 11 KVKK)

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information about such processing, to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose, and to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred. You may also request the rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data, its erasure or destruction where the legal conditions are met, and notification of these operations to any third-party recipients. In addition, you may object to a result arising to your detriment from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems, and claim compensation for damage suffered due to unlawful processing.

How to Submit a Request

You may submit requests concerning your rights, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, in writing to [adres], via registered electronic mail to [KEP adresi], or by e-mail to [e-posta]. Your application will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on its nature; where the process entails an additional cost, the fee set out in the tariff determined by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
