In multi-vendor line projects, unclear interface responsibility means problems surface on site, at the most expensive stage. When engineering, manufacturing, installation and commissioning sit in separate hands, schedule and scope risk stays with the investor.
The line is planned by a single scope owner from layout through to acceptance. The interface matrix and scope gates are defined at project start; equipment passes factory acceptance tests first, and the process is completed on site with integration and SAT.
Scope, equipment selection and performance targets are confirmed for each project after a discovery and engineering review.
