Operating principle

The load is received on a carrier platform; the platform is rotated 90 or 180 degrees by its drive unit, aligned with the outfeed conveyor and the load is discharged in the new direction. Because the load turns together with the platform, its orientation is preserved and no large-radius curve is needed in tight layouts.

Integration

It connects intersecting or returning line branches compactly, with rotation release and discharge signals interlocked with line control.

Options follow the application

  • Recipe-selectable turn angle (90/180)
  • Roller or chain conveying surface on the platform
  • Safety interlock package for the rotation zone
